While wandering the streets of Toledo Spain, I happened upon a two-horse carriage with a driver and attendant in uniform waiting outside the cathedral for the bridge and groom. Her carriage truly awaited and waited and waited.
The attendant stood at the head of the team to keep them calm while tourists snapped away (and I include myself in this category), and the driver kept turning to see if the happy couple were coming. Once they did, the matched black horses with bells on their bridles pulled a magnificent carriage through the crowded streets to much waving and clapping by the well wishers while the bride waved her fan and the groom smiled. A wonderful moment!
